Community Council
Gatehouse of Fleet Community Council meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month in the Parish Church Hall at 7pm. The members of the current Community Council are listed here together with copies of the minutes of past meetings.
Gatehouse Development Initiative
The Gatehouse Development Initiative exists for the benefit of the Gatehouse Community and provides a framework for the development of projects within the community.
Community Centre
The Community Centre is at the corner of Dromore Road and Garden Street and is adjacent to the Medical Centre and the Primary School. The building provides space for a wide range of community events, for use by community groups and for meetings.

The Biosphere
The Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere covers a region of over 5,200sq kms, comprising a biologically diverse and unique range of habitats. Nestled amongst this vast area are communities who have chosen to become ‘Biosphere Communities’ as Gatehouse of Fleet has.
