Established in 1835, Gatehouse Bowling Club has been part of life in Gatehouse for generations and proudly holds the distinction of being the 13th oldest bowling club in the country.
In recent years, limited financial resources meant that little maintenance could be carried out. However, 2026 marks an exciting new beginning. The club has been officially re-established with a new committee, renewed community support, and a shared determination to secure a positive future for this much-loved local institution.
We are delighted to announce that full membership is now open for 2026 at just £30.
