The Story of a Magical House

Little Boreland is the white 18th century house perched picturesquely above the road to Cardoness Castle from Gatehouse of Fleet.

This booklet traces the history of the property from 1780 when the farmhouse, outbuildings and drystone dykes were erected by the Cally Estate, owners till 1931. It tells the story of the various people who have lived there, brought to life by numerous illustrations.
