Report on the Temple at Cally

Survey shows the Temple at Cally was lived in when first built.

A survey carried out in summer 2012 by the Fleet Valley National Scenic Area volunteers for the Gatehouse Development Initiative confirms that the Temple at Cally was lived in in the later 18th and eraly 19th centuries.
The diary of William Todd had indicated that he had lived there as a boy in the 1780s but the number of finds around the building suggest that it continued to be lived in for some time.
